Stéphane Canalis is an Ingénieur Général des Ponts, des Eaux et des Forêts, currently serving as the Directeur territorial Centre Est at IGN since 2022. Previously, Stéphane held several significant roles, including Directeur de la mobilité at Conseil général du Rhône from 2006 to 2013 and Directeur Délégué Infrastructures et Mobilité at Cerema from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 2022, Stéphane worked as Chargé de mission infrastructures et transports at Préfecture Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Stéphane also completed a Mastère d'action publique at École des Ponts ParisTech in 2006.
