Dave Weeks

Dave Weeks is the Chief Scientist at ALATEC, leveraging nearly 32 years of government service, including 27 years at NASA where they held roles in avionics, propulsion, and project management. They served as the technical lead for DARPA's Falcon Small Launch Vehicle Program and managed investigations for the SpaceX Falcon 1 launch mishap. A Vietnam War veteran, Weeks has contributed to both the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command and NASA's Commercial Orbital Transportation Services Advisory Team. Their educational background includes advanced degrees in Administrative Science and Computer Systems from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and Southeastern Institute of Technology.
