MARK BITANGE

MARK BITANGE has held various roles in the events industry since 2015. In 2017, they began working as an Event Associate for Xpose Limited. That same year, they also became the TEDx Buruburu Lead Organizer for TED Conferences. In 2016, they joined Event Life Kenya as a Founding Partner and Ignite Talks PBC as the Lead Organizer for the Nairobi Chapter. In 2019, they founded UJANA. Additionally, they have worked as a Freelance Editor and Professional Freelancer for Upwork since 2015.

MARK BITANGE obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Religious Studies from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa between 2012 and 2015. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) certification from Transcription Outsourcing, LLC. In 2018, they obtained an Introduction to Human-Centered Design certification from IDEO.org. In 2020, they obtained a Cvent Virtual Events Certification from Cvent. In 2021, they obtained an Inbound Certified certification from HubSpot Academy and a Cvent Hybrid Events Certification from Cvent. MARK also holds an EVENT MANAGER certification from Divine Schools Africa.
