Ian Mati

Ian Mati is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and operations across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Sales for Africa at ignitia, Ian directs initiatives aimed at enhancing agricultural practices by delivering precise weather forecasts through strategic partnerships. As a co-founder of Vintara Collections, an African bag brand, Ian has driven significant corporate collaborations. Previously, Ian held the role of Chief of Staff & Investor Relations at iProcure Ltd., focusing on business expansion and fundraising strategies. In addition, Ian contributed as the Cross Portfolio Support and Operations Lead at Novastar Ventures, where impactful investments were secured for various portfolio companies. Ian holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nairobi and several certificates in strategic management, business leadership, and entrepreneurship.
