Claire B.

Claire B. has extensive work experience in various roles related to software quality assurance and testing. Claire has worked as the Head of Software Quality Assurance at Ignition Advice since 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Manager at Dolby Laboratories, where they managed teams and led projects related to platform media quality and voice communications. Claire also worked as a QA Manager in the consumer entertainment division at Dolby Laboratories. Before joining Dolby Laboratories, Claire founded and managed Bone Idle Records, a record label where they worked as the Managing Director and Music Producer. Claire also has experience working as a Senior QA Test Engineer at Last.fm, a music recommendation service. Earlier in their career, Claire held positions at BNP Paribas, Euroclear, Computacenter, Netopia, and Demon Internet, where they gained valuable experience in test analysis and engineering. Claire has a strong background in managing teams, leading projects, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

Claire B. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UCL, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Claire also has a Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering from Point Blank Music College London, completed from 2007 to 2008. In addition, they hold a BTEC in Computer Science from Brighton MET, earned from 1990 to 1992. Recently, Claire completed a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management from TAFE NSW in the field of Natural Resources and Conservation, which they completed from 2019 to 2020. Claire has also obtained several certifications, including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) and Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from the Scrum Alliance, and ISEB Intermediate and Foundation Certificates in Software Testing from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY.
