Luke Smith

Luke Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of design and motion graphics. Luke was the Head of Design at Ignition since March 2022, where they previously worked as a Motion Designer from September 2021. Before that, Luke worked at Silk Factory as a Motion Designer from April 2019 to September 2021, creating motion graphics and animations for teasers, trailers, and social posts. Luke also worked as a Digital Designer at Picturehouse Cinemas Ltd from June 2015 to April 2019, where they were responsible for creating digital guidelines and refreshing product trailers. Prior to that, Luke worked at Every Interaction as a Designer, delivering digital projects and collaborating with UX consultants. Luke also gained experience as a Digital Creative at Precedent, developing design skills in website and brand design. Additionally, Luke had an internship at Lethal, working on branding projects for various companies.

Luke Smith attended South East Essex College from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a BTEC in Multimedia. Luke then went on to study at the University of Portsmouth from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Ba Hons degree in Graphic Design.
