Makya McBee

Makya McBee has a diverse work experience in the field of writing. Makya started their career as a Freelance Copywriter at Mojo in 2009 and later worked as a Freelance Copywriter at Ignition Creative from 2008 to 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Freelance Copywriter at Mob Scene Creative + Productions and mOcean. In 2015, they had multiple freelance roles as a Copywriter at Seismic Productions, AV Squad, and The Propeller Group. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Copywriter at NBC Entertainment before joining Ignition as a Senior Writer. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Writing at Ignition since January 2019. Overall, Makya has more than a decade of experience in the writing industry, with expertise in various forms of media such as TV, print, and radio.

From 1992 to 1996, Makya McBee attended William & Mary, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
