Ellie James

Ellie James has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Ellie started their career as a Treasury Accountant (FX) at BAE Systems in February 2013 and held this role until October 2014. Ellie then worked as a Project Accountant from October 2014 to April 2016, followed by a role as a Management Accountant from January 2016 to February 2017.

In February 2017, Ellie joined the Royal Horticultural Society as a Senior Finance Business Partner. Ellie held this position for two years, until February 2019.

Ellie then worked at Expedia Group as a Manager of Financial Operations - Contract from July 2019 to October 2019.

Ellie currently works at Ignition, where they have taken on progressively senior roles. Ellie initially joined Ignition as a Finance Operations Manager in March 2020, and held this position until August 2022. Ellie then moved on to become a Senior Manager in FP&A & Risk from July 2022 to June 2023. Currently, Ellie holds the role of Director in FP&A & Risk, starting from July 2023.

Ellie James earned a CIMA degree in Accounting and Finance from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Tourism Management with Finance from Bournemouth University from 2007 to 2011. Ellie also completed their A-Levels in Business Studies, Spanish, and Photography at Alton College from 2005 to 2007.
