Lukas Varnas

Lukas Varnas is an energy and mechanical engineering professional with expertise in biofuel, cogeneration, and thermal plant operations. Currently, they serve as the Head of Mechanical Maintenance at Ignitis Group, having previously held the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer focused on the maintenance and organization of repairs at a waste incineration and biofuel power plant. From 2013 to 2018, Lukas was the Head of the Boiler House at Vilniaus šilumos tinklai, where they managed boilerhouse operations and personnel. They also held positions as Deputy Head and Maintenance Engineer, emphasizing technical condition preparation and equipment operation. Lukas earned a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology in 2012.
