Sumit Sharma

Sumit Sharma is a startup mentor at Leap by DIFC since July 2024, providing guidance to startups on product development, customer engagement, fundraising, and global expansion. As a co-founder and board member of GoBOLT since September 2015, Sharma focuses on transforming the transportation industry through technology and efficient logistics. Sharma participated in the Dubai Future Foundation's FEEL - Future Leaders Programme in late 2024, joining a select group of influential leaders from around the world. From May 2018 to June 2022, Sharma contributed to the FICCI's Core Group on Sustainable Mobility to develop a roadmap for decarbonizing India's transport sector by 2050. Prior experience includes roles at JM Financial, HSBC Investment Banking, Operation Smile, and Ernst & Young. Sharma holds an MBA in Finance from SPJIMR and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering, along with an exchange program at the National University of Singapore.
