Ben Cave is an experienced geologist with a strong academic background in economic geology, holding a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Adelaide University and the University of Tasmania, respectively. Ben served as a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Tasmania from March 2013 to May 2016, focusing on tungsten sources in turbidite-hosted orogenic gold deposits. Following this, Ben held various senior roles at IGO Ltd from September 2023 to September 2024, including Senior Geologist for the Australian Greenfields Nickel and Fraser Range projects. As a Postdoctoral Researcher at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi from November 2016 to May 2018, Ben investigated metal sources in reduced intrusion-related gold systems in the Yukon Territory. Ben also gained experience as an Exploration Geologist at Lincoln Minerals Ltd from November 2010 to November 2012.
