Chris Carr

Chris Carr is an experienced professional in the mining industry, currently serving as the Head of Technical Services at IGO Ltd since March 2017, overseeing technical services, operational standards, and technology projects. Prior to this role, Chris held various senior positions at IGO, including General Manager of the Nova nickel-copper operation, and Manager of Technical Services at MMG Limited. As a Mining Consultant, Chris provided expertise in underground mining and project evaluation. Chris has also held leadership roles on several boards and committees, including as Chairperson of the Board of Professional Engineers, Queensland. Chris holds a Master of Science in Mineral Economics, an MBA in Technology Management, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering.
