Alaa Baraka is a highly experienced structural engineer with a career spanning over 16 years in the engineering field. Currently serving as the Lead Structural Engineer at IHCC since May 2024, Alaa previously held the position of Senior Structural Design Engineer at EHAF Qatar Consulting Engineers from March 2017 to May 2024 and at Collaborative Architects from October 2015 to March 2017. Earlier experience includes a role as Structural Design Engineer at VINCI and Genesis Engineering Consultant, and a position as Structure Design Engineer at Prof. Dr. Shaker Elbehairy Consultant Office. Alaa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Cairo University, obtained in 2008.
