Ryan Mitchell is an award-winning entertainment media and creative strategist dedicated to advancing inclusive storytelling and authentic representation. Currently a senior consultant for GLAAD’s Entertainment and Communities of Color team, Ryan champions intersectional queer and trans narratives across various media, including film, television, and sports. As the NFL’s first LGBTQ+ Brand Ambassador, Ryan has led innovative campaigns integrating queer culture into sports marketing. They are also the co-creator and co-host of the culture podcast HIGHKEY, and their insightful commentary has been featured on platforms such as NPR and MTV. Throughout their career, Ryan has focused on fostering meaningful connections between brands and underrepresented communities, particularly LGBTQ+ audiences.
