Colin MacDonald

Colin Macdonald has extensive experience in operations and strategic leadership within the hospitality and broadcasting sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at IHG Hotels & Resorts since July 2014, Colin Macdonald has held various roles including Director of Growth Initiatives and Chief of Staff to the CEO for the Americas, as well as Director and Senior Manager of Strategy in the Americas. Prior to IHG, Colin Macdonald worked at Turner Broadcasting as a Senior Manager, and at PeopleStrategy as Director of Finance and Operations. Early career experiences include a Private Equity Associate role at First Trust Portfolios and a Business Development Internship at Cedarstone Partners, Inc. Colin Macdonald earned a BA in Business Economics and Philosophy from Wheaton College, after completing studies at Wheaton Academy.
