Matt Bateman

Matt Bateman is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director & Finance Lead for Strategic Partnerships Integration at IHG Hotels & Resorts since May 2021, Matt provides leadership in integrating new partnerships into the Global Finance organization and manages cross-functional projects. Prior to this role, Matt held various finance-related positions at IHG since 2002, including Director of Finance for Global and regional sectors, where financial support and leadership were provided to senior management. Earlier career experiences include roles at Forte Hotel Group, Defaqto, Barclays UK, and The Midcounties Co-operative, where foundational finance skills were developed.
