Townsend Bailey

Townsend Bailey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and corporate responsibility. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Georgia Conservancy since December 2022 and as the Head of Corporate Responsibility for IHG Hotels & Resorts since November 2021, Townsend has a strong background in the sustainability sector. Previous roles include Board Member for Beyond Hunger, Director of Sustainability at McDonald's, and Deputy Executive Director at Sustainable Atlanta. Townsend's early career included teaching and coaching at Whitefield Academy. Townsend holds an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and a Master of Education in Secondary Language Arts Education from the University of Notre Dame.
