Founded in 1987 and based in Burnaby, British Columbia, IHM Mechanical provides complete plumbing, electrical, and specialty water-system services for commercial and light industrial facilities across Western Canada.
From the start, IHM has focused on delivering quality work and dependable service. Our experienced tradespeople bring technical expertise and craftsmanship to every project—supporting supermarkets, retail environments, food processing facilities, and other critical commercial spaces where performance and reliability matter most.

Our teams handle every aspect of plumbing and electrical systems, including design, installation, retrofit, and ongoing maintenance. We also specialize in advanced water-treatment and filtration systems, along with building and refrigeration controls that help customers operate more efficiently and sustainably.

What sets IHM apart is our ability to deliver integrated mechanical solutions backed by hands-on accountability. With dedicated teams in British Columbia and a growing presence in Alberta, we combine local service with the scale and support of The Arcticom Group – a North American network of industry-leading refrigeration and mechanical service companies.

Our success is built on our people. Every member of the IHM team takes pride in doing the job right – safely, professionally, and with attention to detail that earns customer trust year after year.
At IHM Mechanical, we don’t just build systems – we build relationships. Whether it’s a new construction project, retrofit, or maintenance partnership, our goal is simple: to deliver mechanical excellence that keeps our customers’ businesses running strong.
