Ben Abbott

Ben Abbott has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Ben has been with IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union since 2007, where they have held various managerial positions. Currently, they serve as the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Payments, Digital & Lending Experience. In their role, they oversee the development and implementation of digital lending offerings. Prior to this, they were the Vice President (VP) for Lending Experience, where they focused on improving member experience and solutions throughout the loan process. Ben also served as the VP for Digital Services, where they were responsible for digital service strategies and initiatives. Additionally, Ben has experience in strategic initiatives, enterprise applications management, and core system administration within the company.

Outside of IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union, Ben has been a member of the Solutions Design Co-Creation Council with Co-op Co-Creation Councils from 2017 to 2020. Ben was also a member of the Iowa Innovation Group with Iowa Credit Union League in 2015.

Ben Abbott earned their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree from Parkland College from 2003 to 2004, without a specified field of study. Ben then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business, majoring in Computer Information Systems, from Eastern Illinois University from 2004 to 2006.
