Andrew Burr

Andrew Burr is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and sales within the geophysical and environmental sectors. Currently serving as the Director for Africa and the UK at the International Human Resources Development Corporation (IHRDC) since February 2012, Burr previously held the role of Territory Manager at Landmark Software and Services, where responsibilities included expanding sales operations in NE Africa. Earlier, as Director for the Middle East and South Asia at Seismic Micro-Technology, Burr established the first office in the region and drove significant sales growth. A former Sales Director at IHS, Burr accomplished tripling revenue for the Eastern Hemisphere in three years while managing a diverse sales team. Burr's career also includes experience as General Manager at Hydrotechnica and as a Senior Geophysicist at Robertson Research International. Burr's educational background includes an MSc in Geophysics from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geography from The University of Sheffield.
