Karen Davis

Karen Davis is a highly experienced instructional designer and project manager with a diverse background in employee training and development across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Instructional Designer at IHRDC since July 2015, Karen supports the development and revision of online training products. As the owner of Opal Training and Design Inc. since February 2015, services include identifying employee development needs and providing project management and technical writing expertise. Previous roles encompass senior project management at Think Systems Inc. for Chevron, technical training coordination at GE Oil & Gas, learning and development management at Petroleum Geo-Services, training coordination at Nautilus USA, and HSE administration at Veritas DGC Land. Karen's educational background includes a Certificate in Computerized Office Skills from McManus & Associates and a High School Diploma with matriculation courses from Alberta Distance Learning Center.
