Deanna Ferguson is an experienced GIS and marine ecological professional with a diverse background in research, education, and analysis. Currently serving as a GIS Analyst at IIC Technologies since July 2020, Deanna specializes in creating navigational products for military use in support of contracts with the Department of National Defence. Previous roles include annotating deep-sea ROV videos for Fisheries and Oceans Canada, coordinating public education programs at the Deep Bay Marine Field Station, and developing educational initiatives focused on the Great Lakes for the Toronto Zoo. Deanna's academic background includes an Advanced Diploma in GIS Applications from Vancouver Island University and a Bachelor of Science in Honours Marine Biology from Dalhousie University.
