Mark Cornelius

Mark Cornelius is an experienced professional in the restoration industry, currently serving as a Board Member for the IICRC since September 2021. As President of the Emergency Mitigation Technician Academy since October 2014, Mark has contributed to the growth of the institution, which is recognized as an IICRC approved school. Additionally, Mark has been the President of Disaster Recovery Industries, Inc. since January 2002, where responsibilities included developing marketing and operational strategies. Mark's prior roles include Senior Consultant at YOUNG & Associates, Contract Instructor for Restoration Science Academy, and various project management positions in restoration firms, demonstrating over 30 years of expertise in commercial and residential restoration. Mark holds relevant certifications and an education in fire instruction from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center, as well as affiliations with Kennesaw State University and IICRC.
