Chris Austin

Chris Austin, CBE, possesses over 20 years of experience in senior public sector roles, focusing on international relations and policy analysis. They have successfully navigated complex negotiations and managed large teams both domestically and internationally, contributing significantly to multi-million-pound development programs. Currently, Chris serves as an adviser for the Africa Scotland Business Network, a trustee at SolarAid, the International Non-Profit Reporting Foundation, and the International Institute for Environment and Development. Chris’s past roles include director at the British High Commission in Pretoria and senior lead for the UK Task Force Hurricane Irma. They hold multiple qualifications, including a Master's in Public Management from the University of Warwick.
