Bob Passmore

Bob Passmore has extensive experience in the insurance sector, currently serving as Department Vice President for Personal Lines and Vice President for Auto & Claims Policy at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association since January 2007. Responsibilities include legislative and regulatory policy development and serving as a subject matter expert on claims and auto safety issues before state and federal policymakers. Bob Passmore has also held roles as Senior Director in Personal Lines Policy and contributed as an Advisory Board Member for the Insurance Research Council since January 2020. Additionally, Bob Passmore is a Board Member for both the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety / Highway Loss Data Institute and previously served on the Board of the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud. Prior experience includes claims management and coverage analysis at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Bob Passmore holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
