Danielle Wolfe serves as Assistant General Counsel at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety since November 2014, overseeing daily legal affairs encompassing contracts, intellectual property, employment, data privacy, cyber security, and insurance. Prior to this role, Danielle held various positions at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) from October 2001 to October 2014, including Chief of the Safety Advocacy Division, where management of communication with external stakeholders was a key responsibility. Danielle also served as Deputy Director of the Office of Safety Recommendations and Advocacy, focusing on transportation safety improvements, and as the Alcohol Safety & Occupant Protection Coordinator, promoting state-level safety measures. Earlier professional experience includes serving as an Evaluator at the U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of Inspector General from August 1998 to October 2001. Danielle's educational background includes a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from James Madison University.
