David Kidd

Vice President, Vehicle Research

David Kidd is the Vice President of Vehicle Research at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, where they drive progress in automotive safety through visionary leadership. Previously, they served as a Senior Research Scientist at the IIHS and the Highway Loss Data Institute from 2018 to 2021. David also held the role of Human Factors Program Manager at Leidos for a brief period in 2020 to 2021. They earned a PhD in Human Factors from George Mason University and a BS in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
