Sonia has extensive academic experience, currently serving at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, since May 2005, where roles include Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, progressing to the position of Professor. Additionally, Sonia held the position of Visiting Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University from July 2017 to July 2018. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, completed from 1999 to 2005, and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, earned between 1997 and 1999.
