Mads Tarp

Mads Tarp is the Head of Finance at IIP Denmark since June 2023, previously serving as Head of Valuation at P+, Pensionskassen for Akademikere from May 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included the valuation of alternative investments and the application of Python. Prior to this, Mads worked at ATP from April 2014 to May 2022 as a Senior Risk Analyst, focusing on risk modeling and valuation primarily for alternative investments. Earlier experience includes a role as Special Advisor/Actuary at Finanstilsynet Danmark, where Mads oversaw Danish life-insurance undertakings and contributed to EU regulation regarding insurance solvency requirements. Mads began their career at Finanstilsynet Danmark as a Deputy Financial Inspector/Economist, supervising non-life and reinsurance companies. Mads holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and has also studied at Western University.
