QA Tester at iiRcade

Doug Owen has worked in the gaming industry since 2005. In 2005, they were a Digital Artist for the Game Wizards Production Team, where they were involved in a team effort modeling and texturing a variety of in-game assets for a student-created game. In 2006, they were a Playtest Participant for Sony Computer Entertainment America. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Quality Assurance Tester for Electronic Arts, where they tracked technical issues in a game in development and wrote detailed bug reports for use by the developers. From 2010 to 2012, they were a QA Tester for GTL Media, where they captured footage of voice-over audio and in-game text of games in development for use by translators worldwide and tracked technical issues. From 2012 to 2015, they were a QA Tester for WemoLab, where they tracked technical issues and worked directly with developers to ensure functionality of the product. From 2015 to 2019, they were a QA Tester for Disney Interactive, where they located and tracked technical issues in several projects from console and PC to mobile applications. Finally, in 2020, they became a Quality Assurance Tester for iiRcade, Inc., where they located technical issues in classic arcade games and modern independent games on the iiRcade home arcade machine, writing detailed bug reports and verifying fixes.

Doug Owen attended The Art Institute of CA- Los Angeles from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Game Art and Design.
