Medha Devare

Medha Devare is a Chief Data Officer with nearly two decades of experience in agricultural research and innovation. They specialize in data management, bioinformatics, and developing strategies for open access and interoperability of agricultural data across global platforms. Previously, Medha held positions at CGIAR, where they led major initiatives on data standardization and agricultural productivity, and served as a Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute. Currently, they work as a Senior Scientist at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture while pursuing a PhD in Crop and Soil Sciences at Cornell University. Medha is fluent in multiple languages, enhancing their capacity to collaborate internationally.
