Amit Gupta is a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, since August 2023, contributing to Quality Control and Condition Monitoring IoT projects and conducting field visits for IoT device deployment and testing. Previously, Amit served as a Research Intern at the National Centre for Aerospace Innovation and Research (NCAIR) and interned at COE-Industrial Automation & Process Control lab where hands-on experience was gained in pneumatics, electro-pneumatics, and PLC programming. In July 2022, Amit interned at Diesel Loco Shed in Kalyan, focusing on maintenance activities for locomotive engines. From October 2019 to June 2021, Amit worked as a Drivetrain Engineer with Orion Racing India. Amit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from KJ Somaiya College of Engineering, completed in 2023.
