Amit Kumar Sheoran

Amit Kumar Sheoran is a highly skilled professional with a strong background in hardware design and engineering. Currently serving as a Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay since January 2025, Amit has previously held the role of Hardware Design Engineer at LeWiz Communications from June 2022 to November 2024, where responsibilities included developing specifications, coding RTL in Verilog, scripting in TCL, and conducting FPGA implementation and simulation. Amit's experience also includes an internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation, focusing on the design and characterization of lightweight authenticated encryption algorithms for IoTs, and an internship at the Prime Minister's Office, involving Python and Linux system management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in VLSI and Embedded Systems from the Defence Institute of Advanced Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Imperial College of Engineering and Research.
