Ashutosh Kumar

Professor

Ashutosh Kumar is currently serving as the Professor in Charge at the Wadhwani Research Centre for Bioengineering (WRCB) at IIT Bombay since January 2025, focusing on promoting innovation in bioengineering. Ashutosh has been a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay since January 2011, leading the Protein NMR research group and overseeing various facilities, including High Field NMR and a Biopharmaceutical research and characterization facility. Previous experience includes roles as Associate and Assistant Professor at IIT Bombay and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. Ashutosh Kumar holds a PhD in Biomolecular NMR Spectroscopy from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University.
