Gopal Patil

Gopal Patil is a seasoned academic with over a decade of experience at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where roles have included Professor and Assistant Professor, focusing on teaching, research, consultancy, and mentoring since May 2009. Prior to this, Gopal served as a Lecturer at the University of Vermont from November 2007 to May 2009, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Earlier work experience includes a role as a Transportation Consultant at Frischman Prabhu (India) Pvt. Ltd. from April 2002 to July 2003. Gopal holds a PhD in Transportation Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Technology in Transportation Systems Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from KLE College of Engineering and Technology under Karnatak University.
