Krishna Kumar

Krishna Kumar is currently serving as a DAAD Visiting Professor at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and a Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, both starting in January 2024. Since 2013, Krishna Kumar has held the position of Professor and Director of the Artificial Intelligence for Aerospace Systems (AIAS) Laboratory at Toronto Metropolitan University, while also being a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Space Systems at Ryerson University since 2005. Additional roles at Ryerson include being a member of various senate committees and chairing key departments within the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science. As Chief Scientist at Elocity Technologies Inc. since 2017, Krishna Kumar oversees the scientific functions and research initiatives. Furthermore, Krishna Kumar founded iSAC Systems Inc. in 2016, providing innovative smart solutions based on advanced technologies. With prior academic experience including an Assistant Professorship at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Krishna Kumar earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
