Manish Kumar

Manish Kumar serves as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, since August 2016, having previously held the role of Assistant Professor. Prior to this, Manish Kumar was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo from August 2011 to August 2016, focusing on the performance assessment of seismic isolation hardware for critical structures. Manish Kumar's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Project Engineer at Rio Tinto Iron Ore, managing small to medium-sized projects, and an internship at the Center for Offshore Foundation Systems, assisting with research on offshore foundation installation. Manish Kumar holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Structural Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University at Buffalo, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
