Milind Atrey serves as the Deputy Director and Dean of Research and Development at IIT Bombay since May 2019, while also holding a professorship in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the same institution since October 2005. Prior to his current roles, Milind Atrey was a Principal Engineer at Oxford Instruments Superconductivity in the UK from August 2000 to September 2005. Milind Atrey obtained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, between 1986 and 1991.
