Rahul Purwar is an accomplished immunologist with extensive experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay since November 2013, Rahul focuses on developing affordable CART cell therapies. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ImmunoACT since September 2018, Rahul also previously held the position of Scientist II at ImmunoGen, Inc. from September 2012 to August 2013. Educational credentials include a Postdoctoral fellowship in Immunology from Harvard Medical School, a PhD in Molecular Medicine from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover, and advanced and undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Lucknow.
