Tejas Thakur

Project Research Engineer

Tejas Thakur is a Project Research Engineer at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, since October 2021, focusing on the development of a smart drone ecosystem and its social applications to support the government of Maharashtra's drone deployment strategy. Previously, Tejas held the position of Junior Research Fellow, investigating rotary wing aerodynamics and phase-resolved inter-rotor aerodynamic interactions in the field of Aerospace Engineering. Prior to this, Tejas served as an Assistant Professor at Theem College of Engineering from August 2018 to October 2021, teaching subjects related to Mechatronics, Material Technology, and Mechanical measurements and control. Tejas holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Mumbai.
