Norma Prado is a seasoned professional in the field of sensory evaluation and product development, currently serving as Senior Scientist in Global Spirits R&D at IJW Whiskey Company since March 2023. With extensive experience at Brown-Forman from May 2005 to April 2023 in roles such as Scientist Product Insights and Sensory Scientist, Prado has a solid background in the spirits industry. Prior positions include Associate Manager of Sensory Evaluation at Tequila Herradura and various roles in sensory evaluation and quality control at Tequila Sauza, Sensient Technologies Corporation, and other organizations. Prado holds a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology Process from Universidad de Guadalajara and degrees in Food Engineering and as a Laboratory Technician from Instituto Politécnico Nacional.
