IKAI ZERO is Germany's first cultural studio for anime and manga, founded in Hamburg by Jonas Selzer and Harshitth Manickaratnam, both former Jung von Matt NERD.

We work with brands that want to enter and genuinely belong to anime and manga culture. Not as a trend play. As a long-term strategic position. We bring the cultural depth, creative craft and community proximity that this space actually demands.

Alongside our brand work, we run IKAI DISTRICT, our own community hub for anime and manga culture in Germany. What we build and learn there flows directly into the work we do with brands. You can't understand a culture from the outside.

The studio is backed by Toan Nguyen, founder of Jung von Matt NERD, and Hendrik Ruhe of Gute Gesellschaft, two people who understood immediately why this had to exist.

Anime and manga have shaped a generation. In Germany, the space for brands to engage authentically with this culture is just opening up.

We are your entry into it.
