Ali Samini

Ali Samini is a Principal Research Engineer at IKEA since October 2021, with prior experience as a Guest Lecturer at Forsbergs Skola, where teaching focused on Unreal Engine 4. Previously, Ali held the position of Principal Research Engineer at Linköping University from December 2019 to October 2021, and from 2011 to 2012, along with serving as a Research Collaborator from 2013 to 2015, contributing to projects involving Collaborative Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) and augmented reality in building construction inspection. Ali's academic background includes an M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Graphics and a Ph.D. in Computer Graphics and Visualization from Linköping University. Volunteer experience includes involvement with ACM SIGGRAPH focusing on science and technology.
