Amr Rashed

Amr Rashed is currently the Global Experience Design Team Lead at IKEA in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. With over a decade of experience in digital product design, Amr has previously held positions such as Design Lead at Backbase and Senior Product Designer at Eventtus, contributing significantly to user experience and design systems. Amr began their career as a Mechanical Engineer before transitioning into design, showcasing a passion for creating enjoyable experiences through their work. They hold a BSc from Helwan University Cairo and have furthered education in Interaction Design at various institutions, including the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, Amr enjoys learning guitar and music theory.
