Erik Simonsson

Erik Simonsson is a European Patent Attorney at IKEA Group, where they are responsible for reviewing patent portfolios and preparing patent applications. Prior to this role, Erik held various positions at ABB, including R&D Program Manager and Team Manager, where they led research and development initiatives. They also served as a European Patent Attorney and Partner at Awapatent, advising clients on protecting their innovations. Erik holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Teknikum Växjö and The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, respectively.
