Gesa Bork

Gesa Bork has extensive experience in international development, project management, and business optimization. Gesa has held various roles at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, including internships focused on trade analysis and textile program support, as well as positions as Junior Advisor and Advisor in the Special Initiative Training and Job Creation, where responsibilities included identifying investment opportunities and managing private sector development initiatives in Ethiopia. Prior to GIZ, Gesa worked at Inter IKEA Group and IKEA, providing analysis for process optimization, project management for logistics, and evaluation of financial statements. Gesa holds a Master's degree in International and Development Economics from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, a Bachelor of Arts in Logistics and Transportation from Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin, and various certifications including Project Management Professional and Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
