Gilberto Veiga

Gilberto Veiga is a seasoned Process Engineer with over a decade of experience in the manufacturing sector. Currently employed at IKEA Industry since December 2010, Gilberto specializes in process improvements, production support, and the implementation of LEAN tools, focusing on quality enhancements and cost reductions. Prior to this role, Gilberto worked at Swedwood Portugal as a Project Process Engineer, where responsibilities included line improvements and the implementation of new products. Gilberto also has experience as a Process Engineer in the Frames & Coldpress area, supporting production through workstation standardization and continuous improvements. An alumnus of Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Gilberto holds a Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Automation and Systems.
