Rhys Fowler is the Global Head of Design Research at IKEA, where they lead innovative design research initiatives. Previously, Rhys was a Creative Director of Design Research and Senior Design Researcher at the BBC, managing a team of 30 researchers across various digital platforms. Rhys honed their research skills at The Big Picture, contributing to international studies for major brands, and earlier in their career, they held marketing roles at Aberystwyth Arts Centre and NoFit State. Rhys earned a BA in Media & Communication Studies and a MA in Audience & Reception Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
