Ron Heinen

Ron Heinen is an accomplished procurement leader with extensive experience in digital and technology procurement. Since February 2021, Ron has served as the Head of Digital & Technology Procurement at IKEA, overseeing a global team of 40 professionals and managing an annual spend exceeding 1 billion EUR. Prior to this role, Ron was the Procurement Director for IT & Digital at Philips, where responsibilities included leading the transformation to cloud solutions and managing technology spend. Ron's earlier experience includes senior procurement roles at SABIC, where strategic procurement processes were implemented across Europe, and at Océ, focusing on IT hardware and telecom sourcing. Ron holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from Eindhoven University of Technology.
