Jacques de Vos is an award-winning underwater photographer, cameraman, and filmmaker, known for their expertise in cetacean research and ethical whale watching. They founded Arctic Freediving Cetacean Expeditions, leading freediving expeditions with orca and humpback whales in Northern Norway. Jacques has also worked as a drilling and measurements specialist at Schlumberger and is a freediving instructor trainer, collaborating with renowned trainers and co-owning Freedive Cape Town. With a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Jacques continues to create impactful documentaries while serving as an ambassador for Ikelite.
